Thanks to my parents sorting through a safe deposit box, I've just come into a few savings bonds that I got as gifts for my bat mitzvah. Why there was a twelve-year wait, I can't guess, but in any case, it's a nice bit of cash which means I can deposit most of it and then buy some Tom Lehrer albums guilt-free.
