About seven hours ago, I finished the first draft of my Remix. I had to take the day off from doing anything else even remotely useful, but it's done. I'm still reeling a bit, the way I tend to do after big writing projects. It's stressful, cerebral, solitary work, but the high when I get to the end is one of the best feelings in the world.
I'm still going over the scenes, figuring out what I need to change and add and take out. I'll get to that the day after tomorrow to allow for full fermentation.
And now that it's done, I can go back to cover letters. Such is life.
