Saving it up.

I got my second novel rejection yesterday. What I find noteworthy about it was that I sent out the query on Thursday. I didn't get an automatic rejection - no "we're not accepting anything at this time, sorry for not saying anything about it." I didn't get a personalized rejection, either. Just a form letter. But I got a form letter fast.

Even if I only got a form letter, the rapid turnaround means I can move on with my life that much earlier.
