The glory of routines.

Just to say that I forgot my wallet in my apartment today, but I was still able to get my usual afternoon coffee. Because I go to the same local independent place near work every day, at about the same time, they know me - so when I said I'd forgotten my wallet, they gave me the coffee anyway, knowing I'll be in to pay for it tomorrow.

You can't get that kind of service at a Starbucks.
