Time to stock up on popsicles.

I got into two fun conversations today over my Vitruvian Turtle shirt - one with a guy at a cake counter, just lightly talking for a few minutes about Renaissance artists, and the other with a young child at a farmer's market where I explained the joke to him in a way that made him smile because the shirt became more than just a ninja turtle.

I also baked a cake. When humidity sets in - that's when I'll be dying. But if it's just heat, I know how to move through it. And keep it coming, evidently.

Less fun and more important, I went to the big protest gathering out in Brooklyn. I didn't stay that long, but I went. People kept coming in from the Brooklyn Bridge when I left around two o'clock, hours after the marching had begun. Seeing it still filling up as I was leaving was something worth going to see.
