Very important decisions here.
Mar. 8th, 2018 09:01 pmIt's three days to my birthday...and two days to Prom. And I've almost decided on what to wear.
The shoes: black mary janes, a classic style, always nice. Tights, a given for March in New York City. The only jewelry: a lacy black choker with a dark red rose, perfect for the occasion. Hair to be worn in a single long braid, all the better for dancing.
The dress - is still being decided, but I'm leaning towards a simple black drop-waist dress. It's between that, a maxi-length tie-dye dress, a much-loved striped dress, and a red spaghetti strap dress. The tie-dye and strap dresses both need to be worn over white t-shirts, which I understand is very 90s. I look great in the stripes. And I think it'll be the black, because with the rest, I'd be constantly concerned about everything - necklines, shirts bunching up - when and if there's dancing. And on the slim chance there's dancing, I should go with a dress suited for that.
Well, then. I guess it's all decided.
