Two consecutive three-day weekends! The perfect way to end one year and start another.

It's actually really good timing, because I'm at the apogee of cold symptoms, and it's nice not to have to go anywhere and be able to sleep in for another couple of hours. Maybe even take in a movie, if I feel like it. No time but my own - one of the great modern luxuries.

The Snowflake Challenge is something I've grown to look forward to - a low-stress way to begin engaging with the new calendar year. I like that it's been a way to reengage with old-school style blogging and posting regularly, and also to meet new people. Hopefully it'll be those again this year, too.
