Feb. 29th, 2016 08:15 pmI know I've finished the final composition because I've eaten the last two pieces of Halloween candy I had in my freezer for exactly this situation. So because I ate the candy, I must be done with the drafting phase.
This isn't to say I'm done. I need to assemble it - I've never written anything with this many moving parts, and figuring out how they precisely fit together is going to take a night or two. Titling all the chapters, at least a week. Fact-checking, asking questions, pulling out a nonfiction book with a lot of citations to make sure everyone's got a name, a while longer.
But it's enough I can almost say it's done.
And now I've got all of March to get it there.
