See the future.

A while back, I thought a really nice life to live would be one where I'm equally happy whether or not plans are canceled. Today I'm putting it to the test, because I'd originally made plans to meet someone for dinner tomorrow night, but life got in the way and we have to reschedule for next week. So tomorrow night I'm going to stay in and write fic instead. It would've been nice to go out Thursday for various reasons, but it'll be nice to do some writing, too.

Not worse or better. Just another viable, enjoyable alternative.
