Start a week, end a month.
Mar. 31st, 2013 09:42 pmDone Dids of the Day:
1. Vacuuming
2. Laundry
3. Gym session with a brief visit to the steam room
4. Cooking three nights' worth of dinner, counting today's
And that's it. No reading, no writing, not even any yoga or watching Doctor Who. I suppose I could count playing through a good chunk of Portal 2, but that doesn't have the same personal heft as finishing up another thousand words or sorting through a few dozen leads for potential cover letters.
The last of the congestion is stubbornly clinging. My ears are still clogged, making everything sound quieter or a little farther away than it would otherwise; that, plus a low-grade lassitude and a weird sort of chalky taste in my mouth all day, pretty much robbed me of anything I might have channeled towards productivity.
I'm clinging to the knowledge it's the end of the month, and tomorrow, it'll be a chance to start fresh as much as anything else.
