Apr. 2nd, 2013 10:24 pmThe first seven or eight times I tried playing Portal 2, it shut down within five minutes. Every time. Then I tried it again last Thursday, and finished it this morning. I lost more sleep and productivity that I'd like to admit to, and I also learned that I can't let myself play Bioshock until I'm done with the first draft of my current WIP, because otherwise it'll take even longer to get done.
My enjoyment of reaching the ending was curbed somewhat by having well and deeply spoiled myself, since I never imagined being able to play the game on my laptop as it is. Still. I can't say I'm sorry I played through it all, and I might go back and try some of it again later.
In the meantime, the congestion is finally gone and I can hear again, and I'd better get to bed in order to get up for work tomorrow.
