Poised to blast.

It's true I got a good part of a project done on Ellis Island today - seven out of thirteen shelves are now ready to be entered into the main catalog. And it's true I impressed someone else in the gym with my deadlifts, and stunned him when I told him I do bench presses, too. And I cooked a healthy, delicious dinner. And my floor's much cleaner, even if I've got yet another pile of books stacked up somewhere.

And because I haven't put any words together yet, cover letters or otherwise, today won't count for much of anything. I've been leaving prompts at this round of Macabre March Madness at sharp_teeth in the vague hopes one of them will bite someone else. Or just bite me again and get me to do it.

I rightly should finish this tea and get to bed. I know I've got time tomorrow afternoon to do the work that needs doing, and I'll likely throw in the towel and ask for a ride to New Jersey so I don't have to face the hours of commuting. But I'll see if I can get some words done first anyway.
