It probably shouldn't delight me so much that the meltdown I had there last week means I won't be going over to New Jersey this week. But it does, and I'm already happier just knowing I won't have to head over there. Even if someone was driving me so I wouldn't have to deal with catching one of the buses. I'm already planning on what work I can accomplish with the extra free time. And the fact that I'm so happy to not go says plenty about what the service is actually doing for me.

The contradiction that acting out is strongly discouraged, but an effective way to draw attention to myself, is not ignored.
