I've let my parents know that for my birthday, I want a new duvet cover. This isn't the most elaborate or lavish gift, but it's one I've needed for about two years now. I might've said something about it to them earlier, I might not have; in either case, it's something where I don't know where to start looking so I might as well ask for the gift of having someone else do the legwork.

Also having someone come over to help lug books out of my apartment. I've asked before and I'll see about asking again.
