Feb. 8th, 2025 09:42 pmLast night, I got a sizable bag full of stuff out of my apartment. Things I'd had around that I needed to give up the thought of giving out to people. I'll miss them, and what they represented, and it's better to have the space than those objects - a pink stress ball, a parasol, little cloth bags suitable for batteries and earrings, things like that. My brothers took them and I'll wait a few days to ask how they went about dealing with everything and if they kept anything for themselves.
Similarly, I'm looking at papers I've got, loose sheets and folded posters and old magazines, and debating if I want the papers more than I want the space for books. The books are mostly winning out. I've cleared off the space the papers took up and I'll fill that with books, and whatever's left over will determine the amount of papers I can keep. Just basing it off the available square inches of shelf.
