Trying to articulate.

In therapy today, I said America belonged to me more than the people ostensibly in charge of it; my therapist asked why I put it like that, and I told her I approached it out of love instead of greed. I stand by that.

We also talked about how I'm sublimating my feelings into the things I'm writing, deliberately and otherwise, and how it's working as a coping mechanism. What's driving those fantasies. And we talked some about how difficult it can be to put certain things - stuff from the real world, mostly with parents - into direct, hard words. Not harsh, but hard.
