Applied usage.

The day's major accomplishment was clearing some books out of my apartment. A handful of cookbooks I've never used, to be precise. I got them when a family friend was getting rid of some of her books, so I took a couple of nice Julia Childs hardbacks, but the other week I realized I'd never cracked them open to cook from them. As I said, I wanted to give them a good home, but I just ended up housing them.

Now they're off with my younger brother R., who'll hopefully give them the good home they deserve. And I can get some books I love into that freed-up shelf space.
