Mind our mouths.

I'm mostly posting tonight because it seems like a good idea on a bottle of cider, half a bottle of wine, and another bottle of cider. Good and sloshed. Lubricated, even. And - evening, all. Today someone took time out of their day in New York City to comment on my hair, which is perhaps the highest compliment I could receive: I'm worth someone's time and attention.

I also successfully made apple butter today, which was facilitated by having a studio apartment where I'm never more than about twelve feet from the stove, but was an accomplishment nonetheless. Apples, lemon, cinnamon sticks, and water. And heat, and patience, and time.
