Get out on my own.

I've once again worked myself out of a job. I did so well at my present gig that there's nothing left for me to do. I got a nice email about it early this evening, which took the pressure off waiting around another week. I knew it was coming, and I'll feel better about it tomorrow, but tonight I just want to let myself feel sad about it.

The clients thanked me for my work and I thanked them for the opportunity. I also pointed out I still have a copy of the housekey they'd had made for me for when they were upstate, so hopefully handing it back will get me a more graceful goodbye.
