(no subject)

I didn't go to my usual Wednesday gig today, so instead I did almost nothing of value. I dozed a bit, and went to the gym for a while, and the highlight was feeding the local pigeons. I recently found there's a nest near my apartment building - I can tell by the sounds of the squeaking from the sidewalk - so I leave a bit of birdseed out near that, too. Other than the birds, though, it's not been memorable.

I'm trying to make plans for the weekend and the coming weeks, and the issue with the weekend is waiting to hear back from someone, and the issue with the coming weeks is that I've spent so much time avoiding the topic because I know I can't contribute in any meaningful way, I don't know how to ask for concrete details and get them. Which just has me wanting to know even less.
