Vindication.
Nov. 24th, 2022 08:16 pmFor years I've said that I was certain this one garlic-rosemary jelly from the farmer's market would be amazing on turkey sandwiches. And I was right.
My family packed some sandwiches and went out of the city for a short day hike - an hour up, a nice view, and then a little under an hour back down for lunch. On the way up, I spotted a bald eagle, and at the summit, a couple of other people saw it, too. At lunch, we passed around the turkey sandwiches, some with mustard and some with jelly, one of which was mine. As soon as I took a bite, I knew I was vindicated. All those years of theory, finally tested, and proved correct.
