Hungry for sleep.

Delivering the news that my job is ending soon by prefacing it with the update I don't have a work meeting tonight or any assigned tasks for the week helps a great deal to soften the blow. It's a week off with pay before I start genuinely worrying about what to do next.

Highly unlikely it'll last more than another week beyond next week, which is when our next staff meeting takes place. It's still enough I'm willing accept it as a show of kindness, and see how much I can bill for the hours I'd otherwise ordinarily be working.
