Sep. 30th, 2022 11:30 pmIt seems unfair to leave the day without a post - no reason for it other than its own presence. As such, a post. Though as I recall it takes three things.
1. Much as I’m bracing for the coming chill and rain, tomorrow I get my boots out and my sneakers go away until spring, and when I get frightened in the parks, it’s easier when I’ve got boots on.
2. A thing I forgot to mention yesterday was the sight of a man bathing himself in a drinking fountain. The spirit of the feral city manages to endure.
3. I’ve separated out some jeans that don’t fit around my thighs from those that do, and those that do, I’ll see about taking to a denim repair place. Same inseam, same waistline, different cuts, and it’s still a bit of a bafflement to me exactly how that’s supposed to work.
