It seems worthwhile to mention I'm changing workout journals. I've been using my last one for years - since September 9, 2015, going by the first entry - and got this new one about three years ago thinking it'd be nice to have it when time came to swap over. I thought about doing it early in 2020, then decided to let myself use it all the way to the last possible page. There's a small sense of accomplishment in that.

Also a sense of accomplishment is looking at the weights and reps logged in there and seeing the consistent general level of activity and the aspects which communicate genuine increases in capacity, stamina, and strength. Like push-ups. It was also late December of 2020 I moved from sets of three to sets of five, which I've been enjoying - while I woke up with a sore lower back this morning for no reason I can figure out, waking up with sore shoulders or thighs for reasons I'm perfectly aware of creates a definite feeling of pride.
