Wake up call.

I woke up early this morning, about 6:10, for no reason I could figure - and a moment later, thunder hit, loud and hard, enough I wondered what just happened because I'd never heard a sound that heavy or intense before. Then rain started coming in, and I went back to sleep.

A few hours later, I checked local weather reports, and what woke me up was the first of two horrifically loud thunderclaps, with the second one that I was awake for loud enough to be heard all the way out in Queens, miles away.

I'd had aspirations for things to do in the day, with few of them coming to pass. Perhaps tomorrow - as was said, tomorrow is not so long.
