A cog in something turning.

Today was warm enough for a bike ride in a t-shirt. Last Saturday was cold enough to need gloves. Yesterday was sweatshirt weather, and with this morning, I think the switch flipped for the season. It'll be a while longer before it reliably stays this warm and pleasant, and knowing the days are heading there - that glorious part of spring in New York when all the shades of green are new and fresh - is a good one to hold to.

Passover is coming soon, too. Earlier in the season than the last couple of years. I'm trying to work my way through my open rice before it arrives. Same with some of my flour. Not a bad problem to have, really. I'll see about setting some time aside this week for baking bread.
