Over and in.
Mar. 6th, 2021 10:18 pmBiking down to Union Square is a journey by itself. Biking back, laden down with all manner of bottles and provisions, it's an undertaking. Not something I'll be doing again for a while, at least not until I run out of cooking wines again.
Also of note of the day was finishing a two-part D&D campaign. I played a half-elf urban druid apothecary with a pigeon familiar who, as a card-carrying guild member, kept trying to unionize everyone she came across and managed to talk the party out of a battle with the campaign's big villain. The DM even commented that it was supposed to be a bloodbath, but we talked our way through it and managed to get him on our side. As minor accomplishments go, it was a good one.
