Sailing so long.

I didn't get as much done today as I'd wanted, either professionally or personally. I hit a wall late in the afternoon with all motivation gone to continue the ongoing tasks, leaving a little for tomorrow and a lot for next week. Last night I realized I'd written something that didn't fit the overall narrative, so tonight I cut it out and rewrote the segment. And didn't write more, only getting that scene done without adding anything more to the wordcount.

I'm consoling myself with having done a couple necessary errands, and that disappointment isn't the end of the world, just a temporary state to be dealt with by going to bed and trying again tomorrow.
