Acted much too calm.
Nov. 29th, 2020 10:28 pmLast night, I went to sleep not knowing where I'd put a knife.
This morning, I woke up realizing I'd misplaced a towel.
They're both replaceable, in the long run - I can find another copy of that same knife I got ages ago, and I didn't buy the towel so using another one in its place isn't a burden. It's simply deeply frustrating and honestly baffling, because either they were accidentally placed into garbage and recycling containers, or they're somewhere within the confines of my apartment and I simply don't know where they are.
The last time something like this happened, it took nearly eighteen months before the misplaced object came back to me.
I hope it doesn't take as long this time around.
