Count the days.

Waking up earlier than I'd have liked did get me to a nearby market early enough to buy tomatoes to cook this afternoon, so it wasn't a waste of a morning. Just a minor disappointment.

I've been having trouble meeting my daily fic wordcount lately. It'll take me an hour or two longer than typical, which I've been putting down to feeling stuck and under-stimulated in terms inspiration and media input. Less than a year ago, I'd have gone to the movies and come out refreshed, or gone to a coffee shop and done handwritten notes for a while. Now, it takes a bit more work to get that circuit breaker activated.

I'll keep my butt in the chair and keep on writing, and hope to find a new vein soon.
