Walk out the river.
Apr. 27th, 2020 08:59 pmToday I saw a robin bathing in a puddle with cherry blossoms floating in the water and falling through the air, and it was so springtime I couldn't even deal with it. But in a good way.
The local sparrows are growing bold and accustomed to my company, willingly landing on my windowsill and not immediately flying off I peek out at them if they're already eating. They still fly away, but not until they're done with their meal. Which I respect.
Thanks to someone in my building moving out, I'm now twenty dollars behind and five Pyrex baking dishes ahead of where I was this morning. A fair trade.
