Wild card inside.

The sum total of the day's accomplishments was cooking several days' worth of soup for the coming week's lunches. Even with that, and a weariness that I think comes from having wound myself up last night, I still haven't managed to get myself ready for bed. I'm largely staying awake by watching Justified, at long last, now that it's on a streaming site I'm already using.

I saw the sparrow again today, just as it moved out of sight. My building isn't completely flush up against the one right next to it, and it's also several stories taller - the one next to mine is only five stories, with the back half of the fifth floor a courtyard instead of more indoor dwelling space, which gives me a view out to a privacy wall and the occasional glimpse of a party. And there's a tiny bit of space just between these two buildings where ivy grows out from in spring and summer that I think might be where they're making themselves a nest. I'm not sure where the doves are staying this year, but it's got to be close by. I'll have to keep an eye out for any regular behavior patterns, regardless of species.
