Separarte sides.
Jun. 30th, 2019 11:45 pmSome months ago: The slightly too-big copper band I'd been wearing around my left thumb slips off my hand somewhere outside my apartment. Note this is after almost losing it some weeks earlier by it wedging it between couch cushions hard enough my thumb slid out of it.
Some weeks ago: The smooth-fitting silver ring I'd been wearing in replacement slips off my hand while hanging up clothes in my closet, which puts me to the Borgesian situation of having both lost an object and still knowing exactly where it is.
Tonight: The dual-leaf shiny gold-copper ring I'd found while literally scavenging disappears from my awareness somewhere in between my apartment and the laundry room.
Any bets on how long the new one's going to last will be welcomed with deadpan humor.
