Ongoing developments.

I've reached just over the halfway point of red pen edits, at least in terms of printed pages, and it's looking increasingly unlikely I can finish the red pen edits by the end of the calendar month. This is disappointing on a number of levels, though it's not exactly coming as a surprise. My family's going on a little vacation over the weekend and I'm not bringing my stuff with me since I've no idea what the set-up's going to be like. Even if I just took the computer to focus on the parts which need heavy composition lifting instead of just trimming sentences for clarity, I don't think it'd be quite worth it when I don't know how much time I might or might not have. So I'll just accept this with as much grace as I can.

Incidentally, does anyone have any advice for what to do in western Massachusetts? I've never been before, and I'm looking forward to a few days without any screens in them.
