I'm glad this is a leap year, to give me another day at being 29. It hasn't been the greatest age, but it was the year I went to three different fandom conventions and traveled north, south, and west to get to them, and if I'm being generous, the fan brunches in Brooklyn count as going east for a fandom meet-up to cover all cardinal directions.
The idea of a birthday party seems like a now-or-never idea, but I have no idea what it would constitute, or how to organize one. Or even who to invite within adjacent area codes in sufficient numbers to make it a party.
