Burns your change.
Sep. 30th, 2015 11:24 pmI've now passed 40,000 words on my current WIP. I think I'm about halfway done with the rough draft, but I won't know until I get there. I really hope I can do that by the end of the year: it's a fic that's going to need a fair bit of consultation.
In other news, a solution to a problem has been paying off. I'd been dissatisfied with how things had been going in the gym for a while, and wanted to do more when I was there, focusing more on the workouts and not feeling so anxious about it. Adding in an uptake to general life stress meant I wasn't putting in as much effort as I was happy with, and couldn't do much to help myself feel better. So I figured that since the problem was an abstract, arbitrary one, a concrete and arbitrary solution would be the best way to fix it.
So I bought a workout journal about twice the size of the one I'd been using. Since it takes more to fill up the pages, I'm doing more to fill up the pages, and while it's only been a few weeks, I have hopes this trend will continue.
