Press me 'til I hurt.
Feb. 27th, 2013 10:56 pmI checked, and the last time I've been sick was December - barely two months. It's a lot better this time around, with no upper respiratory gunk or congestion, just fever, nausea, and general weakness and aches. I spent the whole day inside, doing very little of value or importance and managed a bit of yoga in the afternoon. A good shower and heavy sleep should take care of the rest.
Oddly enough, it felt good to be sick for a while there, because I was abstractly aware of outside concerns but unable to motivate myself to give thought to them. At least until my dad called to talk about job work, and the possibility of multiple cycles of cover letters, which just wouldn't be feasible for me to do and remain happy. And I don't know how to tell him that. So to feel better, I made bread. And I'm finally ready for that shower now.
