Strides I spend to the finish line.

According to the wordcount stats of the Archive of Our Own, I'm just under 90,000 words away from hitting 200,000 words for my series Dog Days Are Over.

I think the appropriate word is "wow." Quite possibly "damn."

I'll stick with wow.

The most recently completed fic accounts for a little under half the wordcount - so if anyone's interested in reading a long fic, a long fic in a fandom with few of them, some new Team Fortress 2 stuff, something that was just edited and posted, a meditation on identity and the bonds of fidelity and shifting boundaries of the worlds one lives in, a fic with team shennanigans and spywork hijinks plus some sex, food porn, language lessons and a couple shout-outs to John Le Carré - well, you're in luck! I've just posted Qui Vivra, Verra, something I very much enjoyed writing, and something I hope others enjoy reading.

Now, to take a few minutes, breathe deeply, and get back to the other fics in the queue...
