Connecting everything.

What happened is my supervisor offered me the option of more hours, so now I'll be working three eight-hour days, and one six-hour day. I might get a college student working under me for a few weeks to handle busywork and paperwork. And I've got permission to wear my t-shirts to work, although I'm going to keep on wearing skirts because I'm employed by a synagogue. I'm still getting paid by the hour, though - it's still contract work.
It's also me moving forward. And I realized I'm not someone working a long string of temporary jobs: I'm a mercenary librarian, roaming the lands looking for a long-term alliance, and until then, it's whatever comes across my path.
Not a bad way to think about it, really.
