hannah: (Fruit - truntles)
If it's at all possible, I highly recommend buying dried fruit from pet stores. However silly it sounds, it's worth it for plain dried fruit, something I find harder and harder to find. Take cranberries: it's nearly impossible to find grocery stores or dedicated shops that carry unoiled, unsweetened cranberries. But pet stores do, since birds can't digest sunflower oil or cane sugar. They're just cranberries. Same with coconut and pineapple and blueberries and raspberries and cherries - just plain fruit.

It'd be more disheartening if it wasn't so tasty.
