Late-night thoughts.
Apr. 13th, 2012 10:48 pmI'm still in a bit of a daze over having a job at long last. It'll pass, and it'll feel real once I get used to going, but for now, with the news still fresh, it hasn't sunken in yet.
Still, last night I realized for a long time I'd hoped for someone to tell me "You can come in next Tuesday" or the equivalent, and I actually got to hear that. The only reason I'm not starting on the sixteenth is because my new supervisors were very understanding when I said I'd already made plans for this weekend. Even though I still need to buy train tickets.
And contact my letters of reference and keep them posted, and get in touch with the internship people, and update my CV...Sunday. Hold me to it, please.
