Archiving.

In the general spirit of naming things after geographical locations, my new 2TB hard drive is Upper Terrace. Yes, the street in the Cole Valley neighborhood of San Francisco. I have some extremely lucky cousins who live there, and the views are stunning.

I'm slowly moving my media over there, and my music as well. I'll be keeping Bixby Canyon around, mostly for document storage, so I can keep everything unplugged and safe on a shelf except for when I do routine back-ups. That extra level of security to help the worried writer sleep a little more soundly.
