Griping as catharsis.
Oct. 24th, 2011 04:12 pmIt may be a fine and shining example of meritocracy at work, but I still hate it when I have to fill out online profiles for jobs. And it's always the exact same data, every single time, over and over. It's tediousness embodied, and I'd much rather write a cover letter than deal with all the little boxes and dates.
And if I don't specifically set out to do just that, with the proper mentality and hot beverage, it doesn't take long for me to get restless enough to throw my hands up and wander off to find something else to do.
I'll use the gym to clean out my system, get back to cover letters later, and work on those profiles tomorrow.
