Sep. 1st, 2011 11:24 pmThis has not been a shining day for productivity. I think if I get into it more than that, I'll just end up depressing myself, so I'll leave it as such.
That said, I did hit 37,000 words on my outstanding work in progress, which makes it the longest thing I've ever written for anything ever, and it's still not done. It's close to done, but not quite there yet. I'm aiming for 50-60000 for the rough draft, on the grounds that if someone else wrote this I'd want something to sink my teeth into properly - and I'll have to go through it myself before I ask anyone for a thorough reading. Hopefully it'll be ready to post sometime in November.
Then there's the other stories set in the same timeline, and I need to work out what those are going to be so I can get to them...and as long as it's getting me out of bed in the morning, I'll take the fandom-based escapism.
