Status update.
Feb. 10th, 2011 04:20 pmI got another gig! No, it doesn't pay either, but it's a gig!
It's a twice-a-week full-day unpaid position at the Ellis Island Archives. It's unlikely it'll turn into a full-time paid career, but it gets me doing library and archival work the way I trained to do it in school, it keeps me busy, and it's at the Ellis Island Archives, so I get to take a boat to work. Should be good for me.
I also called a therapist - soon to be my therapist, once we start meeting regularly - and left a message, so that process should be going forward shortly.
