Step inside.
Aug. 30th, 2010 11:38 pmIt's a little disappointing to realize I won't be able to finish my first draft for
werewolfbigbang by the end of August; still, it's good to know I'll get it done, since I'm in that 'hurry up and spill words out' end-draft phase where I know where it's going but just haven't written it yet. It's not helped by the fact that other story ideas are being bounced around with varying degrees of planning, none of which will end up being nearly as long. I guess this is where a queue comes in handy.
The major problem with being this deep in a project is that it's where most of my composition-energy goes, which makes Livejournal entries tricky to put together - and if I'm starting the evening by working on cover letters, then I get more tired than usual by the time I turn out the lights.
Incidentally, being a subway ride and short walk away from the HBO store and not having to pay shipping charges for Tru Blood still seems is more than a little absurd even with a four-pack of them waiting in the closet.
