Wild card inside.

Of the twenty songs posted, thirteen were guessed correctly, four more were given attempts, and three were ignored completely. For the attempted songs, people either didn't know the title or the specific artist - in retrospect, I should've skipped over well-known folk songs or popular covers. A part of me is still surprised nobody made any guesses for Death Cab For Cutie or Beth Orton, but I guess that's the breakdown of demographics. Or something like that.

Walking back to the house from work, I went by a dog - some kind of hound, I think - sleeping on a lawn in the shade. All stretched out under the leaves, just snoozing.

I baked a loaf of poppy seed bread using grated tangerine peel, and while it was baking I ate the fruit on the roof outside my bedroom, watching the cars drive past and looking around at the clouds with this song playing in my head.

On days like this, it never feels all that bad.
