February the First.

My older brother J. and his wife E. are about done moving apartments. At lunch today with my parents and my younger brother R. and his wife G., R. said I could've helped. I said neither of them asked me to help, which got them a little confused, which in turn got me even more perplexed. It doesn't help the state of things that I barely was aware they were moving, with the extent of the updates being a message to the group chat they couldn't attend this week's usual Friday dinner. If they're sharing the information anywhere else, I'm not seeing it, and I haven't been told where to look.

The next time one or both of them are attending the same thing as I am, I'm tempted to ask them about the move. The other alternative is not to say anything, since so little was said - not as a brush-off, but to operate under the theory that if they'd wanted me to know more, they'd have told me.
