Synchronizing.

In an effort to gather something from the day, I quit editing early and went to cook lunches for the next few days, and threw that album on as something without lyrics to keep me company while I diced garlic.
The first lightning flash off in the distance didn't land on a sudden sharp note or anything. It just arrived at a time aliens were coming down and everyone was running. I ended up turning off the main overhead light in my apartment for added ambience, and it helped bring some wonder into the late-night, tiring cooking.
It wasn't getting more editing done, but it worked to wrestle something out of the night.
