Domestic updates.

My new mattress arrives tomorrow, and I'm low-key stressing about it. The delivery estimate is a four hour chunk of time that starts fairly early in the morning and that's only an estimate. I don't like the prospect of getting up that early and I dislike the idea of being caught off guard in my pajamas even more.

Last night I tried fending off stress with soju, and that worked hard and fast. Tonight I'd rather stay sober. I know it's a good idea to replace this mattress, especially after so long - it's the one I've been using since I moved into this apartment - and I hope the transition is a quick one, once the delivery people get here. I'm not looking forward to the adjustment period, and I really hope it doesn't take too long for it to stop being new and just be my mattress.
